Q: What is the best food for a hot summer day?
A: Fruits! Watermelons, mangoes, and oranges are some of my favorite fruits to eat on a hot summer day.
Q: When is a normal time for you to go to sleep?
A: I normally sleep before 12am but when I have classes, I tend to stay up doing schoolwork, usually until 3 to 4am. It's currently 1:43am as I'm typing this sentence.
Q: What is your favorite bird?
A: The Shoebill. Please search up an image of this bird if you've never seen one before, you won't regret it.
Q: Who is your favorite graphic designer?
A: I don't really have one, I feel like I should though since I'm studying graphic design now (GD newbie here).
Q: Is there any type of specific art you like?
A: I really like cinematography.
Q: Who’s your favorite character from a book, show, game, etc.?
A: I like the character "Chihiro Ogino" from Studio Ghibli's Spirited Away.
Q: If you had to pick a superpower what would it be and why?
A: I would pick teleportation so that I could explore the world, never be late, and escape from danger quickly.
Q: What is your favorite Horror Movie?
A: IT. Love that movie. I think I've watched it 3 times now.
Q: What is your favorite dessert?
A: Any kind of sweet mochi! I love eating all desserts though.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do in quarantine?
A: I like to (safely) explore outside, like finding hidden spots in the City of Richmond to take cool pictures. When I can't go outside, I like to watch movies and play LoL.
Q: Who is your favorite music artist/band?
A: This is a difficult question since I listen to a lot of different genres. I'll always having a good time listening to Post Malone, Sik-K, and DPR LIVE though.
Q: What is your current favorite music album to listen to?
A: Currently, it's "The Lost Youth" by Midnight Kids.
Q: Do you have any pets?
A: I have a maltipoo named "Toto".
Q: What is your major?
A: I'm majoring in Art and Visual Technology with a concentration in Graphic Design and a minor in Digital Media and Web Design. It's a struggle every time someone asks me this question in person.
Q: What's your morning routine?
A: I go on my phone for about an hour after waking up (it's terrible ahhhh). I eat while watching Netflix. Then I brush my teeth, wash my face, and shower.
Q: Any podcasts you recommend?
A: I don't listen to podcasts so I don't have any to recommend. :(
Q: Which text editor program should we be using for the first exercise?
A: Atom, or anything but Dreamweaver.
Q: What's the weirdest dish you have ever tried?
A: Maybe shark fin soup. It didn't taste or look weird, but it's considered a delicacy. I'm not a fan of it though.
Q: How do you pronounce .gif (the file format)?
A: I pronounce it "jif".
Q: And does it TRULY matter one way or the other how someone pronounces it?
A: It doesn't, but I start to feel awkward when someone pronounces it "gif". It doesn't sound right, as if we're talking about completely different things.
